Your appointments are very important to me! I do my best to be flexible for your needs, and show up when I am expected. I understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, I will require at least a 24 hour notice for cancellations.
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on my waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. All appointments are confirmed via text or call the evening beforehand as a courtesy. I will consider the appointment confirmed with or without a response.
Since the services are reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply;
My grooming rig will require a parking spot, preferably street parking. It is 23' long, approximately 2 car lengths. I will need access to an electrical outlet within 100' of the parking spot. I use my own extension cord. Please have a dedicated circuit available, not plugged in with appliances such as a freezer, washer or dryer.
Please have your pet on a prescribed flea medication or effective prevention. I can only use products that will kill fleas, but do not prevent further infestation. To protect your pet and other furry clients, I charge a $20 fee to remove the fleas from your pet and the entire grooming area.
Hidden illnesses, injuries or medical problems may sometimes be exposed during or after a grooming session. Owners will be informed of any issues that occur while in the groomer’s care. If a condition exists that may cause an injury or pain, the grooming session will cease, and not be completed until the condition is cleared. Even if the pet is not completely groomed, the owner is still responsible for 100% of the grooming, or as the groomer sees fair. Any medical and vet expenses that arise are the responsibility of the pet owner.
Accidents sometimes happen, as working with sharp tools and moving animals pose a risk. Although extreme caution is always used, possible risks include scratches, cuts, irritation, cutting nails too short, and other accidental injuries. In the event where an injury requires an emergency vet visit, the groomer has the responsibility to cease the grooming and notify the owner immediately. If the owner is not present, the groomer will take the pet to the nearest emergency vet.
I do NOT groom aggressive dogs or cats.
Safety for the pet and the groomer is the priority. Groomers of Spaw Day Mobile Grooming reserve the right to refuse service if an animal displays any signs of aggression before or during a grooming session. If upon arrival the pet cannot be groomed because of extreme fear or aggression, the owner is responsible for 100% of the fee.
